Passion Determines Whether You Win Or Lose

In my last post I shared my thoughts on goal setting and how this really only works if you have super strong emotion attached to your goals. I want to take this a step further by sharing with you something that definitely sets the winners in life from the losers and that is Passion.

So many people accept a mediocre life - and I am going to say something now that you probably wont believe. “It’s not totally their fault!” Look, society conditions us to live a mediocre life. The educational establishments never teach people that they can be anything they want to be. Instead, society wants us to tread the following path:

Education - Career - Pension - Death.

Now if that sounds over the top to you then just think about it for a moment. The majority of people follow this path, in fact most of them end up working at a job they hate for many years and why is that? Because the fear of not having a job is so strong it compels them to do this. This means their life is about pain avoidance rather than passion and excitement. Do the majority of people totally lack passion in their lives? No I don’t believe this to be true. But it probably only exists in a small part of their lives - maybe at the weekends or when they are pursuing their favorite pastimes. Is this wrong? No. Is it sad? Yes.

There is no way I am against education. I encourage people to learn new things everyday of their lives. What I strongly recommend is that you educate yourself in order to live out your passionate desires. I also admire people that have a strong desire to build a career and reach the top of their profession. If that’s what they truly desire then all power to them.

Whatever you want to achieve in life make it big and passionate. Believe that you can do anything, overcome any problems or barriers and that you will achieve your desires. If you hold this belief your self confidence will soar and your resolve will become stronger than you can imagine.

You can be passionate about everything that you do and it’s very infectious. If you are working at a job at the moment be passionate when you are there. Speak passionately and strive to deliver your best performance every day. This will transform the way you think about your life. Try it today it totally works.

Make passion your life force and you will never look back. Banish lethargy and listlessness forever. People will be attracted to you from all walks of life and will be magnetized and hang on your every word. Changing to a passion driven life is one of the easiest things you can do and has one of the most significant effects on your future.

Don’t live a mediocre life - live a passionate one!
